What is seed conditioning?Whether soybeans, corn, cereal grains or grasses, they all have to go through a cleaning process. When a plant is harvested, there is inevitably stems, pods, rocks, dirt, and other foreign material that needs to be removed prior to planting or processing.
Cedar Bend uses industry-standard equipment such as air screen cleaners and optical color sorting machines to clean and condition seed. This equipment coupled with visual inspection allows CBI to meet required standards for the food grade industry. |
